SO you wont believe what I heard today. You know that Chris Oliver kid? yea well I guess he is metrosexual. I was invited to my grandmas neighbor's 18th birthday party. I had to make an appearance so my family would not be disgraced. (The japanese are like that...) So I was stuck at this party, surrounded by people who I would usually make an effort to avoid, and food that would kill me.
I didn't know anyone there, aside from a few faces I recognized, some of my brothers old friends "the guys who used to beat me up back in the woods behind my house when we played 'army', and the moron who used to always throw tampons at me". I was even more alienated by the fact I was wearing my normal clothes while everyone else was dressed in ties. It wasn't much fun. I tried to get entertainment from people via phone messages, but only the Operator replied and she seemed as intent to leave the conversation as i was to leave the party, so that idea went to hell. I found the drunk indian man amusing for a while, but when he pulled out the machete I became a little nervous. I eased away when he started serenading it with love ballads.
I noticed a girl who looked stunningly like that blonde chick from Ghost World, and i recognized her as a friend from when I was about ten, but she looked straight through me and entirely ignored me. She probably didn't recognized me.
Or, more realistically, she *DID* recognized me, and that gave her even more incentive to ignore me. Either way, she's all grown up and has nice boobs now.
It was about this time that I decided I should leave. I told them I was gonna get some sleep before work tomorrow, when really I was leaving to beat off over the Ghost World chick.
She didn't seem too happy about the idea, so I left without her.
thats how things always seem to work out.
